Joseph began his artistic vocation at an early age, spending much of his youth in the garden of his family farm. You would often find him there, reading or sketching flowers, plants and a host of ethereal creatures from his active imagination.

Upon completion of a Bachelors in Literature from Redeemer University, Joseph pursued his artistic calling and enrolled in the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto. 

 

Often described as a "realist with a religious sensibility," Joseph draws upon the techniques of the renaissance painters to create unique and enduring subjects for the post-modern world. He provides a range of oil, acrylic, watercolor and graphite mediums on a range of canvases.

Joseph's work has been featured in magazines, books, galleries and movies. In addition to his fine art, Joseph works as a concept artist and storyboard artist for ECCE Media House, a leading movie production company in Canada.
